Abriviation(nickname?) for heart in japanese?

im voming up with a camp name and we dont use our real names and i wanted to be something like kokoro but i want to make sure the little kids there wont have trouble saying it. could something like ko-chan work? or would that not make sense. please give me your ideas to :) remeber heart:D thanks
